And Yet Another Plane Crash?

AirAsia Flight QZ8501 from Surabaya, Indonesia, en route to Singapore  on 28 December 2014,  crashed in bad weather, killing all 155 passengers and seven crew on board. Two days after the crash, debris from the plane and human remains were found floating in the Karimata Strait

Searchers located wreckage on the sea floor beginning on 3 January, and the flight data recorder and cockpit voice recorder were recovered by 13 January

Another Malaysia Airlines Disaster

Coming hot on the heels of the MH370 mystery yet another Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Boeing 777 has met a tragic end. Initial findings indicate the doomed aircraft was brought down by a surface to air (SAM) missile. The Russian BUK SAM launcher (file pic below) is widely thought to be the weapons system that was involved as it is able to hit targets three times the height MH17 was at 33,000 feet.

It is understood that many airlines already avoided the conflict-torn Ukraine/Russia region as early as April but why MAS did not follow suit time will tell.

It was learned that contact was lost with the doomed flight at 10.15pm (Malaysian time +8GMT) last night.

MH 370 - What a Mess!

After over 7 days of searching the seas off the east of Malaysia has drawn a naught the focus has now shifted to the west - much has to do with evidence from the U.S. I am starting to think the Yanks let us go fumbling perhaps to see what capabilities China and the rest of Asia had before they decided to let us in on what they knew.
