Budget 2014: GST to begin in April 2015, Sugar Subsidy Removed

PM announced a budget today that proves what we all know all along - they are squeezing citizens for $$$. After all the cash handouts here's a bitter slap on our faces. Starting tomorrow (Oct. 26) sugar will cost RM2.84 per kg. Oh yes, PM said the subsidy removal is because too many Malaysians were becoming obese and sick with diabetes. Gimme a break!

RON 95 & Diesel Fuel Hike Effective Sept 3, 2013

Almost four months after the General Election, the PM has 'rewarded' the people with a 20 sen hike. The pump price of RON 95 will be RM2.10 and RM2.00 per liter for diesel. So there you have it - second highest prices of cars in region and fuel will steadily be hiked.

Here they go again. It is like a game to the supposed leaders of Malaysi. After a Feb 16 government gazette lifted the ban on Christian publications to use the word “Allah” to be rescinded. The "flip-flopping" Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar said a gazette would be issued as early as tomorrow to cancel the earlier gazette.

I am so glad I am not a Malay. I get to believe in what I choose and not what my leaders force on me.

Chaos broke out at the Brickfields police station in Kuala Lumpur this morning as the police sprayed chemical-laced water at about 300 supporters of detained Hindraf leader P Uthayakumar.

The supporters were accompanying nine people representing nine states and a relative of Uthayakumar, who intended to lodge police reports alleging that Uthayakumar was denied proper medical attention for his ailment.

300 is too few. Many a despot has been brought down when tens of thousands of citizens marched in the name of freedom. Clearly we see the FRU treat the Hindraf supporters like dogs.

UMNO thugs attacks invalid

A GROUP of 22 men claiming to be Selangor Umno Youth members confronted DAP chairman Karpal Singh. just outside the Parliament tower block yesterday.

In the 2.45pm incident, the men surrounded the Bukit Gelugor MP, shouting and demanding that he retract the word celaka which he had used in reference to Umno Youth during his debate speech on Wednesday.

Unlike other MPs, Karpal Singh – who is wheelchair-bound – uses the ramp at the tower block to enter the Parliament building. The Star

Herald allowed to use the word ‘Allah’

KUALA LUMPUR: The Catholic Herald magazine is permitted to use the word Allah provided the publication clearly states the words “For Christians only” in its masthead.

Herald editor Father Lawrence Andrew said this was stated in the recently gazetted Internal Security Act signed by the Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar on Feb 16.

“The next edition of the Herald will contain the word Allah, and we will print the words “For Christians only” on the masthead so as not to contravene the Act,” he said. The Star

The parannoid leaders already forbids Moslems to leave Islam so what is the big deal about this. Damn stupid when you realise that the word is Arabic for god and Arabic predates Islam by a few hundred if not a thousand years.
